CLEARLAKE >> Park Study Club”s newly installed officers for the 2014-2015 term recently honored the club”s past presidents with flowers and a decorated cake at their first meeting/luncheon on Sept. 4.
The newly installed officers are President Virginia Sibbitt, First Vice President Diedra Lagle, Second Vice President Linda Love, Treasurer Joan Edmunds, Recording Secretary Sandy Harris and Corresponding Secretary Anne Garner.
Members are now busy with their first fundraiser, an indoor yard/rummage sale to be held at the clubhouse Oct. 10 through Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Nov. 15, the club will host its annual fashion show/luncheon at the clubhouse. Tickets will be available for $20 at the door or from any member. For reservations, call 995-1807.
The nonprofit club is always open to new members. It meets on the first Thursday of each month beginning in September and ending in May.
