Michael Newman spent three years perfecting his Rock of Sages sculpture garden shrine. Newman had the impulse to do a rock sculpture and picked up the pieces as he traveled around the world. Water is a theme in the garden. "Adi Da Samraj is the one this is all about, the spiritual master behind it," Newman said. "He uses water as a symbol for consciousness because of its fluidity and reflective power." The central figure is made of rocks in which all the other collected items, having their own representations and meaning, flow around the figure.
