KELSEYVILLE >> The Lake County Horse Council partners up with the Kelseyville Pear Festival for their third annual Horse Faire on Sept. 27, with live round pen demonstrations, providing the public an opportunity to learn more about horses.

More than a dozen different horses and other animals will be on site spanning from the large Percheron drafts to the miniature horse, miniature donkey and pony.

Several gaited breeds will be represented, as well as quarter horse, mustang, mule, Arabian, thoroughbred, Gypsy vanner, Azteca and Norwegian Fjord horse.

The Kiddie Korral will return with wooden horses to ride and steers to rope along with games and prizes for children.

In addition, a veterinarian will hold demonstrations on taking a horse”s vital signs and a barefoot trimmer will demonstrate how to take care of horses hooves.

The Horse Faire will be located on the corner of Fourth Street and Main Street
