Just recently I received a letter from The Central Valley Regional Water Control Board stating that new water quality regulations require you to file a response if you are the owner of commercial irrigated lands in the Sacramento Valley Water Quality Coalition. So apparently seeing how Yolo County built a dam on Clear Lake to use our water, we are now responsible to the Sacramento Valley Water Quality Coalition. Fortunately, I am no longer a commercial grower, but how did our representative allow Lake County to be included in this government bureaucracy? Oh, that”s right, we are too busy being politicians to represent the taxpayers, thank you very much. I did not vote for him/her, but my vote doesn”t count in a Dem run state.
Fees include $1,084 plus $6.70 per acre for administrative costs, to which I ask for what? More bureaucracy for the minuscule amount of pollution produced by Clear Lake? All this is a money grab by Sacramento to pay for their mismanagement of our taxpayer dollars through a formation of a new bureaucracy and taxes (definition: more bovine excrement at taxpayer expense).
Oh, and by the way, to all of you who don”t want a tax to help clean the lake, why not just drain it and watch this county dry up and blow away, because that is what will happen. Oh it might be a good idea because then we won”t have to worry about the hitch being labeled as an endangered species, which will ultimately do the same thing! Either way the far left wins and you the taxpayer are being played as a fool. This will never be heard by the uninformed voter. A recent survey at Washington University showed only 6 out of 40 knew the significant of 9-11! I am not joking, and what a shame we have bred a society of uninformed young people and voters, thanks to our education system and government hand outs and far left professors like Ward Churchill, Bill Ayers, and Bernadette Dorn, who hate America.
Remember tune in, turn on, drop out, of the 60s. It has come back to haunt us. And like Hitler during the final days of WWII, ordering his troops to destroy the infrastructure of Berlin without regards for his own people, you the American public are allowing the Dems and the far left to destroy what is left of America.
