LAKE COUNTY >> The Lakeport Women”s Civic Club (LWCC) will make plans for the next few months with activities to support Lake County charities at its meeting on Oct. 3. The group will hold its monthly luncheon and meeting at the Riviera Hills Country Club Restaurant at 11 a.m.
Members are asked to bring donations of non-perishable food items to donate to the Hunger Task Force. A representative of the Task Force will be on hand to talk to the women about their project and how it supports the needy in the community.
