Gratitude or disappointment. Anxiety or hope. Bitterness or forgiveness. Where do we choose to live? That”s what makes the difference.
Rule #1: Start your day. Don”t let your day start you.
Rule #2: Don”t ever let anyone be unhappy because you”re miserable. Don”t give your pain to anyone. Deal with it and make it your business to see that everyone around you is happy. Take pleasure in seeing them smile. That will take your pain away.
Rule #3: Be the inspiration that you seek.
Rule #4: Be happy all day long. Graze on happiness throughout the day like small bites of fresh air. Keep your lungs filled and your head full of good thoughts.
Rule #5: Don”t let anything spoil your good time. You were not put on earth to suffer. Don”t let people or events, no matter how crazy things may be around you get you down. Keep your chin up and press onward. See every moment as a new lifetime.
Rule # 6: Add up everything”s that”s good and don”t miss anything. We miss a lot if we”re busy dwelling on what went wrong. Dwell in what”s good and revel in it. You”re here to enjoy your life. You”re lucky to be alive. Remember that and don”t take anything for granted.
Rule #7: Keep negativity at a distance. It thrives on your need for pity or simpatico. Look negativity in the eye and say, “No, not today thank you!”
Rule # 8: It”s easy to find fault with things or people. Look for what”s right.
Rule #9: Don”t wait for something good to happen to be happy. Make something good happen.
Rule #10: When you see somebody in need and can”t fix them, hold them and rock them. When there”s nothing you can say, show them with your eyes.
You don”t have to die to be an angel.
