Greg Blinn had a slightly negative slant toward fulfilled prophecy in his letter from September 19. In contrast to that negativity, we are told over and over throughout the Bible, and particularly in the book of Isaiah, about the merits of fulfilled prophecy and how only God can know and shape the future. In fact the amount of redundancy and repetition in Isaiah is almost shocking. It is clear that the fulfilled prophecy aspect is not to be taken lightly.
Those who research the fulfilled prophecy issue thoroughly will come away convinced that there is more than enough evidence for belief. Of course, Mr. Blinn might call this fanaticism. But is it? Is it really?
