LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Symphony Association will turn to vintage rock ”n” roll at its forthcoming Harvest Barbecue and Dance on Oct. 11 at Rancho de la Fuente. Proceeds from the event will go toward funding its music support activities, including the symphony and youth orchestras, scholarships and music instruction programs.
The public to attend. Dinner will feature a meal of pulled pork with all the trimmings, prepared by the culinary department of Yuba College, while music will be supplied by the LC Diamonds.
Tickets cost $45 per person, and the deadline for the required advance reservations is today. They may be made by calling 277-8172, or emailing edandcharb1@att.net.
