The New testament was written years after the lifetime of Jesus. Jesus left no records of himself. Even the Romans, who were meticulous record keepers made no mention of Jesus.
The simplest explanation is the authors of the New Testament made the facts of Jesus life fit the Old Testament prophesies.
Believers in the Bible have only faith to rely on.
