LAKEPORT >> Mark Crutcher of Lakeport and Paul Bailey of Nice are advancing to today”s final round of the Rayovac/FLW Series pro-am bass tournament.

The weigh-in for today”s third round begins at 3:30 p.m. at Library Park in Lakeport where the winner in the pro division will receive $40,000 and a new bass boat. The amateur winner will receive $4,000 and a new bass boat.

From a field of 106 fishermen in each division, only the top 10 pros and amateurs move on to the finals based on total weight after Thursday”s and Friday”s rounds. Winners are determined by total weight over all three days.

Kyle Grover of Trabuco Canyon is the pro leader with 47 pounds, 15 ounces. First-round leader Aaron Britt of Yuba City is second with 47-11.

Crutcher is close behind in fourth place with 45-6 and Bailey is seventh with 42-15.

The amateur leader is Dante Ray of Sparks, Nevada, with 39-5.

Big-fish honors on Friday went to pro Jerred Jennings (9-7) and amateur Ray (8-10). Jennings” fish is the largest of the tournament so far.
