CLOVERDALE >> Falling behind 2-0 early in the first half, the Kelseyville Knights battled back to earn a 2-2 draw with the Cloverdale Eagles on Tuesday afternoon in North Central League I boys” soccer action at Cloverdale.

Kelseyville remains undefeated in the league standings at 6-0-3.

“We kept fighting like we do in all our of games,” Kelseyville coach Eduardo Ledesma said of the come-from-behind tie. “When they got up with two quick goals it didn”t look like we were going to make it.”

Cacho”s first goal came midway through the first half on a breakaway started by Elias Alvarez, who picked up an assist.

Cacho”s second goal with 10 minutes remaining in the game pulled the Knights even.

“We had chances to score throughout the game,” Ledesma said.

Kelseyville faces one of its chief competitors for the NCL I title on Thursday when it travels to Fort Bragg. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
