LAKEPORT >> The Westshore Youth Basketball League (WYBL) will hold sign-ups for the 2015 season on Oct. 26, Oct. 28 and again on Nov. 1.
Sign-up locations and times are:
— Oct. 26, Lakeside Lanes Family Fun Center in Lakeport from noon to 3 p.m.
— Oct. 28, Upper Lake Elementary gym in Upper Lake from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
— Nov. 1 at Westshore Cardinals home football game in Lakeport from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Boys and girls in the third through sixth grades from throughout Lake County are eligible. A parent or guardian must accompany the player to the sign-ups. The fee is $50 per player. Late sign-ups (after Nov. 1) are $60 per player with no exceptions.
Teams are formed in November, practice begins in December and league games are played in January and February at the Terrace Middle School gym in Lakeport.
