The marijuana people that are attempting to create grows all over our county seems like they are trying to confuse the general public. I feel this is their intent.
First of all there is no Measure N on the ballot this go around. Only Measures O and P are the issues to vote on. Do not be confused. Vote NO on O and P and visit the Website protectourlakecounty.com. This website will give you factual information regarding the issues on the ballot.
Allowing the growth of marijuana in our county in and around residential areas, schools, parks, playgrounds, churches, community centers, subdivisions, etcetera is asking for more trouble than anyone can afford to have. The people that grow are irresponsible, because they do not think about the effect and impact this will have in their communities, in my opinion. The people that vote that go to our churches I am sure have morals, and I would hope some would have common sense when it comes to these types of issues. We the people need to band together, unite and be strong on these issues and get out and cast your votes.
It is bad enough we have legalized alcohol. Now we want to compound the problems by allowing marijuana to be grown anywhere in our community. This goes to show you how people with good intentions for the 1-5 percent that truly need this for the medical usage aspect are becoming the victims of the growers for profit. The growers are trying to inundate all areas of our society. Common sense tells you they are not wanting to grow it for medical. That is just an excuse. Do not be dummied down by the grower”s rhetoric. Get out and vote. Let all of us put a stop to this madness.
Don”t say, ”oh someone else will vote and my vote won”t make a difference.” We are all in this together, whether we like it or not and we will all be effected!
