KELSEYVILE >> The proceeds from the sale of the winning poster in the Kelseyville Pear Festival Poster Contest went to the building fund for the new Kelseyville High School FFA barn, with ground breaking within a month.

The winner of the painting was Tina Kingsley of Kelseyville.

The new farm location on campus will add to the four campus greenhouses currently on site.

The painting was sold in a live auction at the Kick-Off BBQ and Concert held the Friday evening before festival day in September.
