The Real Deal

Jim Steele is one of two candidates running for District 3 Supervisor. Jim is registered as a Non Partisan. Although this has been a mantra coming from our BOS, “this is a Non Partisan office,” it is not. Candidates are either Democrats or Republicans, endorsed by their respective parties with political contributions thereof.

Jim believes in the issues, not partisan politics. His resume” is extensive in the reflection of this. I personally am humbled he would even consider this position. He certainly doesn”t need a job and he”s proven his commitment to the community already in many ways, e.g., Search and Rescue, the Clearlake Oaks County Water District, many community and neighborhood projects and more.

I”ve gotten to know Jim. When I listen to Jim, I have a feeling of complete confidence and relief.

Additionally, Jim is often complimentary in situations that deserve it. I find him an excellent teacher, making sure everyone understands, with realistic expectations assuming our responsibility as citizens of this County. He knows clearly the importance of public involvement and is but a phone call away, giving freely of his knowledge, energy and time to assist in our goals and dreams for our community.

For me and many others, Jim Steele as our District 3 Supervisor, will be another dream realized. You don”t get superficial fluff from Jim – his knowledge base is extensive and deep, as is his understanding of policy and the workings of government. He”s the “real deal,” not a say anything to get a vote politician.
