LAKEPORT >> The Great Monster Mash & Halloween Bash will take place at the Lakeport Senior Activity Center on Halloween, Friday.
“Halloween is for adults, too—so we”re having a fun party—but—with a purpose,” stated Jonathan Crooks, director. The event will benefit the Meals on Wheels program for Lakeport and Kelseyville areas, “so no senior goes hungry.”
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the live talents of the High Notes. Special guests EarReverence, will perform a-cappella.
A taco bar buffet will be open from 5 to 7 p.m., and a full no-host bar will run all night.
A host of raffle baskets are currently on display at the center, and tickets available at the center”s front desk. Raffle tickets will be on sale until Halloween, when the winners will be drawn during the Halloween Bash.
Costumes will be judged by the crowd in the following categories: Scariest, Prettiest, Best Couple and Most Creative. Prizes include free-of-charge Second Sunday Breakfast, free-of-charge Bingo pack and gift certificate to the Meals on Wheels Thrift Store.
