Friday — Halloween
Clearlake
Trunk-or-Treat: Will take place from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the Clearlake Youth Center and Redbud Park. Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. from Highlands Park on Lakeshore Drive and ends at the youth center. Borrowed Time will play music, and games, activities food and costume contests begin at 6:30 p.m. The center is located at 4750 Golf Ave.
Haunted house: Orchard Park care facility will host a Halloween house for children from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a movie screening in the communal living room, with door-to-door trick-or-treating and refreshments. The care facility is located at 14789 Burns Valley Road.
Clearlake Oaks
Costume party: The Animal Coalition of Lake County will host a costume dinner and dance at the Moose Lodge from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets cost $20. Call 995-0552 for information. The lodge is located at located at 15900 E. Highway 20.
Kelseyville
Costume party: The Richmond Bar & Grill will host a costume party featuring music by The Funky Dozen beginning at 9 p.m. The grill is located at 9435 Konocti Bay Road.
Lakeport
Giveaway: First Pick DKI will give away safety bags at its office from noon to 4 p.m. The number of bags is limited. The office is located at 2480 S. Main St.
Trick-or-Treat Main Street: Will take place from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Event will kick off with a children”s parade in downtown Main Street. Trick-or-treating begins at 2 p.m. Pumpkin posters in store windows will identify businesses accepting trick-or-treaters. A costume contest will wrap up events at 4 p.m. at Museum Park, located at 255 N. Main St.
The Great Monster Mash & Halloween Bash: Will take place at the Lakeport Senior Activity Center beginning at 5 p.m. The adults-only event will feature music by the High Notes, with an appearance by a capella group EarReverence. There will be raffle baskets, a taco bar from 5 to 7 p.m. and a costume contest with multiple categories. Tickets cost $15 and are available at the center and Meals on Wheels thrift store located at 120 N Main St. in Lakeport. The senior center is located at 527 Konocti Ave.
Halloween party: The Lakeport Kiwanis Club will host a party at Clear Lake High School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is for children from preschool to 13. There will be games, candy, prizes refreshments and a costume party will take place at 7:15 p.m. The high school is located at 350 Lange St.
Upper Lake
Halloween party: The Blue Wing Saloon will host a party from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring live music from Majide. The saloon is located at 9550 Main St.
Costume contest: Running Creek Casino will host a contest from 8 p.m. to midnight. Check-in for begins at 8 p.m. for the seven-category competition. There will also be a live DJ and karaoke. The casino is located at 635 Highway 20.
Saturday
Clearlake Oaks
Halloween party: The Clearlake Oaks Community United Methodist Church will host a children”s Halloween party at the Clearlake Oaks Plaza from noon to 3 p.m. There will be prizes, gifts and games, and attendees are welcome to go in costume. The plaza is located at 12483 Foothill Blvd.
Cobb
Costume party: Will take place at The Village Pub from 8 p.m. to midnight. The event will feature music by Twice as Good, and prizes will be given to best male and female costumes. The pub is located at 16365 Highway 175.
Kelseyville
Costume party: The Riviera Country Club will host a party from 7 to 11 p.m. featuring music by The Fargo Brothers. The event will take place at 10200 Fairway Drive.
