LAKE COUNTY >> The Lake County Chapter of California Women for Agriculture (LCCWA) is offering a second opportunity for Lake County classrooms, Kindergarten through grade 8, to apply for $100 mini-grant to support agriculture-related educational projects.
The mini-grant application can be found on the LCCWA website www.lakecountycwa.org under the “Scholarship” tab at the bottom of the page. The one-page application is due, Nov. 10.
The LCCWA actively educates members and the public about matters concerning agriculture at both the county and state levels.
The mini-grant program is designed to assist school programs that give students a hands-on experience to learn what goes into producing food and the important roll agriculture plays in their and everyone”s daily lives.
