The local hip hop and R&B group K-Town opened for TOO-Short in Sacramento over the weekend, but they have just as much going on off the stage.

K-Town consists of Taj Dedrick (Tajie D), Jay Dedrick (J.D.) and Cody Morlan (Preacher Man). Taj Dedrick just opened a recording studio at 154 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport, next to Jimmy”s Deli. He is offering a “Gift Of Music” package at this time. The idea is for families to record their child or children singing favorite songs. The studio will produce a CD which may then be given as a holiday or birthday gift. K-Otic Studio can offer vocal recordings and acoustic music.

Once again it is time for K-Town Crazy Sock Drive, as well. K-Town is holding their 5th sock drive to provide children in hospitals with crazy, fun socks during the holidays.

People can make donation at Serenity Massage/K-Otic Recording or by mail to PO Box 1407 Kelseyville.
