Art House Gallery offering free-of-charge therapeutic art classes
CLEARLAKE >> The next therapeutic art class at The Art House Gallery takes place Wednesday.
The classes are free-of-charge and all materials are included. This class is specifically helpful to those that are having issues such as grief, loss, depression and trauma or finding themselves in a transition phase in their life.
Susan Revier, who holds a master”s degree in transformative art, is the teacher.

Veterans Day celebration honors WWII battalion
KELSEYVILLE >> The Sons of Norway, Vikings of Lake Lodge No. 6-166 will be holding a special celebration honoring Veterans Day Sunday at 1 p.m.
There will be a presentation on the 99th Infantry Battalion in WWII, otherwise known as the Viking Battalion. Bill Hoffland of the 99th Infantry Battalion, WWII Educational Foundation in San Francisco will conduct the presentation.
A buffet lunch will he served with a suggested donation of $5.

The event will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Galilee Lutheran Church, located at 8860 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.
Donations needed
FINLEY >> The Clearlake Gleaners are in need of donations of frozen turkeys, non-perishable goods and money. The donations will go to families of Lake County for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.
The Gleaners have 13 sites and supply food to approximately 1,900 families around the lake.
Donations can be dropped off at 1896 Big Valley Road, Finley during office hours; Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 15.
