Now let me see if I have this straight: billions of years ago, nothing exploded. Absolutely nothing. This explosion produced matter, which moved in a linear direction, then suddenly started to rotate around itself. These simple elements changed over time and created the planets, moons and stars, all amazingly moving in order. Then life came from non-life. Information came from matter. A creature became alive! It found food. It found a girlfriend compatible to itself in its lifetime on the same area of the planet. They had children, which survived but were different. Mutations, time and selection changed these offspring. Chickens, alligators, roses, turtles, bananas, snails, whales, polar bears and all living creatures we see alive today all came from this fantastic first creature. Wow.

But wait, this is in defiance of all we know about science. Order cannot come from an explosion. The planets and moons do not all rotate the same. Life cannot come from non-life. Matter does not create information. Mutations are never observed to be beneficial. Natural selection only selects, it doesn”t create. None of this has been observed, tested or recreated. The predictions it would make would be that matter can come from nothing, animals can produce offspring of a different kind than themselves. Life can be observed coming from non-life. Intelligence can come from matter. These things just don”t happen in real life. Evolution is a belief system to explain the amazing world we see without giving glory to God. That, as any thinking person would admit, requires a great deal of faith. Evolution is a belief that will not tolerate others not bowing to it.

The language of evolution is probably, possibly, maybe, could have, might have, we believe.

The gods of Evolution are time, chance and nature. They are silent and nonjudgemental. Just the kind of gods we sinful people will tolerate. It has been well said the reason an atheist can”t find God in creation is the same reason that a thief can”t find a policeman. They aren”t looking for him.
