In response to the article, “Which translation is best for Bible study?” May I recommend the one that is most criticized by the liberals, most misquoted by the atheists, the most shunned by the religious elite and the most despised and mocked by Hollywood. The one which organizations that have little in common with each other will form an alliance together against. It”s the one which has “Holy Bible” on the cover and says, “Thus saith the Lord,” on its pages. The one which, when you quote a verse from, even the most ignorant know you are quoting the Bible. It has no copyright or reproduction restrictions and pays no royalties to godless men. It”s the one that has been the foundation of our country. The one that turns criminals into godly citizens, prostitutes into virtuous women and can change even the most hopeless case. The Book that is either loved or hated. It”s the true sword and not a butter knife: The King James Version. You can find it at the dollar store. Read this Bible and your life will change.
Yes, you can read and understand it, but it will require two things that are lacking today: discipline and a desire for the truth.
