LAKE COUNTY >> The Eastlake Landfill, the Lake County Waste Solutions (LWS) transfer station and the Lakeport Public Services office will be closed on Nov. 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Lake County Waste Solutions transfer station will re-open on Nov. 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residential and commercial collection for Nov. 27 and 28 will occur one day after the normal pick up day. Normal collection schedules will resume the week following the holiday. The landfill will re-open on Nov. 29 and the public services office will re-open on Dec. 1.
Normal operating hours at the Eastlake landfill in Clearlake are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The normal operating hours for LWS are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public services office is normally open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 230 Soda Bay Road in Lakeport.
