Letter to the Editor: What truth?

I would like to point out to Bill Kettenhofen that very few sects believe the 1260 years (and this is from the siege of Rome in 538 AD) refers to the capture of Pope Pius VI. Others believe it refers to the St. Bartholomew”s Day massacre and others to the fall of the Papacy in the year 2016. So which one is the truth? This, of course, assumes that you believe that the 3 1/2 years mentioned in Revelations is construed as one day is meant as one year. The basis for this is not strong, but when one needs to relate a prophecy to modern times to strengthen a belief … well. By the way, Napoleon was not Emperor at this time, but I guess it makes it seem more important to the prophecy if he was.

So Bill, I desire to know the truth. Can you explain how your truth is the correct one?
