KELSEYVILLE >> After winning his first league championship at Kelseyville High School, head coach Eduardo Ledesma watched the Knights pull down their fair share of honors during the recently held All-North Central League I boys” soccer meeting.
Coaches from the eight teams that make up the NCL met to select the All-League team and five Knights were voted onto the squad, led by MVP Omar Rodriguez, a senior.
Kelseyville”s other All-Leaguers were juniors Enrique Cacho, Ricardo Covarrubias, Elias Alvarez and Victor Cacho.
Kelseyville (12-3-4) won a hotly contested NCL I race before losing 3-2 to Gateway in the opening round of the North Coast Section Division II playoffs.
Lower Lake, Middletown and Clear Lake each had one played honored on the All-League team. David Fernandez, a senior, represented Lower Lake; Jorge Morales, a junior, was honored from Middletown; and Charlie Crockett, a senior, was Clear Lake”s selection.
