UPPER LAKE >> The Annual Holiday Light Parade in Upper Lake will be held on Dec. 6.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with the tree lighting ceremony. The 4-H will offer tri-tip sandwiches and chili and the Senior Support Group will sell hot drinks and desserts. The Upper Lake 8th grade class will have a booth offering hotdogs, popcorn and handmade ornaments.

The parade will begin approximately at 6:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to enter. Lineup will be at the Upper Lake High School and Middle School parking lots. No entry fee required and trophies will be given out. The theme this year is “A Country Christmas.”

Santa will arrive to take all the Christmas wishes for the children; parents are invited to take pictures. This event is sponsored by the Upper Lake Community Council and the Northshore Fire Department. For information, contact Debbie at Country Carpets at 275-2000.
