The signs have been beckoning for some time and now the moment has arrived. O”Meara Bros. Brewing Company will open their doors this Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m.
The buzz about this fusion of mircobrewery and restaurant is that O”Meara brothers will feature live music in addition to food and drink. The craft beer is brewed on site and an early look at the menu included such unexpected pub fare as Irish egg rolls, deep fried mac ”n cheese and a stuffed mushroom sandwich.
Some of their Fresh craft ales on tap will be German Hefeweizen, American Blonde Ale, IPA and what they call “Irish American Stout” to name a few. The beer line up will change with the seasons.
For Saturday”s grand opening event, live music starts at 3 p.m. featuring Irish rock and accoustic sounds by the Gnarly Pints. Then, at 7 p.m, local rockers The Kentucky Jugglers hit the stage.
