On Saturday and Sunday Toys for Tots of Lake County hopes to fill a fire truck with gifts for young people. The event takes place at K-Mart in Lakeport and Wal-Mart in Clearlake from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with toy to be distributed at the Kelseyville Lions Club.
The firefighter”s drive is an important event for the organization. Many others groups and companies help, as well, including Mendo Mill, Lakeport Tires and Auto Center and the Clearlake Lions Club. The U.S. Marine Corps delivered $14,000 worth of toys for distribution in Lake County. Toys R Us also donates to the local organization.
