Lakeport >> Lake County Winery Association (LCWA) is hosting its second Give the Gift of Wine Holiday Open House today, Saturday and Sunday.
“Make your list and check it twice. The holidays are here and Lake County wineries have great wines, fun and lots of gift ideas to make gift giving easy. Visitors will be able to sample wines of more than 25 Lake County producers during this special event,” LCWA Director Terry Dereniuk said,
Tasting rooms will be decked out in their holiday finest to add to the feeling of the holiday season. Special holiday offers on wines, gift ideas and food samples will be featured at each location.
“The Give the Gift of Wine weekend is a fun event for everyone,” Dereniuk stated. “The wineries have been busy planning and decorating with some help from Santa”s elves. If you are looking for the perfect stocking stuffer, pick up two tickets for the price of one for the 2015 Wine Adventure weekend with the purchase of six or more bottles of wine in participating tasting rooms.”
Cache Creek Vineyards will also host a Holiday Charity Faire during the Give the Gift of Wine open house weekend. Operation Tango Mike, Lake Family Resource Center and Lake County People Services will compete in the Christmas tree decorating contest and benefit from the funds raised by the event.
