LUCERNE >> The North Shore Poets and Song Writers Gathering takes place Wednesday at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center.
The monthly event takes place on the second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. All poets and songwriters from Lake County are welcome. All ages and styles are invited to the gathering.
Coffee, tea and refreshments are provided and guests are encouraged to bring other snacks to share.
The event gives people an opportunity to read poetry, lyrics and/or sing. Accompany shared writing with an instrument.
This month, the group will be discuss suggestions for format and activities for future monthly events.
