LAKEPORT >> A man was robbed Monday morning at a parking lot on 11th Street and the two suspects remain at large.

Lakeport Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of 11th Street on a report of a robbery just after 9:30 a.m., according to Lt. Jason Ferguson.

The victim told officers two white men approached him in the parking lot at about 7:30 a.m. One suspect, described as in his 30s, tall, heavy set and wearing a black sweatshirt, reportedly grabbed the victim and held a knife to his throat, while the second, described as 20 to 25 years old, smaller with a thin build wearing a red sweatshirt with the hood up and a scar across his right eyebrow, pat searched the victim, found his wallet and took $300 cash. Both subjects got into a 1990s model red Honda car and fled westbound on 11th Street.

During the course of the investigation, Lakeport Officer Joe Eastham obtained further detailed descriptions of both subjects and completed two composite sketches, Ferguson stated.

The police are seeking the public”s help in identifying these subjects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LPD at 263-5491.
