FACT: At no point did I call anyone stupid, Gruber and the Democrats did that! Republicans were excluded from participating in the formulation of the ACA, not one Republican voted for it, it was passed at 3 a.m., so the ACA falls fully on the Dems, it”s their baby and they controlled the House and Senate at that time.
FACT: Jonathan Gruber was paid $400k by our government to craft the ACA and he was paid another $6 million by other states to help craft their ACA plans, which means he played a huge roll in crafting the ACA, not to mention the Massachusetts health care law.
My view is: Gruber probably would not have said his “stupid” statement if it was not the consensus of the people around him and this includes this administration, because he visited the White House 21 times as noted in the White House Log. So he is not a nobody, or not part of the team!
FACT: On tape nationally televised, President Obama said Gruber (a MIT professor of economics), was not on the team. The President must think the American public is stupid and will fall for this is a logical conclusion.
FACT: On tape nationally televised, Nancy Pelosi said she did not know Gruber, yet publicly she praised him three or four times. So she must think the American public is too stupid to see through her lie. It is so easily fact checked, so why lie?
FACT: The lame stream press, i.e. ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, did not report on this for the first four or five days and then nominally 11 times or so after that. Brent Bosel, who tracks things like this has pointed out these types of limited reporting time and again. His facts and figures don”t lie.
So why not report a big news item?
Gruber admitted he had made the bill vague as to subvert the CBO figures. To craft something to distort the truth is fraud in my book. It may or may not be in a court of law but I stand by my opinion. Finally, I expect the Dems to lie to me, all I asked is how do you Dems like being lied to by your own party. I and other conservatives by the 100s have pointed out the lies coming out of this administration time after nauseating time again! If you chose to ignore the lies then that”s on you. Lies are not a right or left issue they are a right or wrong issue. The truth matters most, not silly politics.
Oh, by the way, the National Debt just reached $18 trillion, 70 percent of which was incurred by this administration. Remember all those shovel ready jobs that weren”t so shovel ready? Remember when President Obama said a $4 trillion debt was “Un-American”? Oh, that”s right, he has evolved what ever that means. Give me a break. Maybe we are all stupid or maybe it is just freedumb, i.e. the cradle to grave mentality. And I can”t wait to see what Gruber says at the upcoming congressional hearings.
