As of noon on Wednesday the lake level at Clear Lake was 1.82 feet on the Rumsey Gauge and slowly rising. The lake level should rise to 2 feet on the Rumsey Gauge within a few days.

When the ground is saturated, the runoff into the lake from streams equals a 1-foot rise in the lake level for every 4 inches of rainfall.

Last year, the maximum the lake level reached was 2.4 feet on the Rumsey Gauge. Yolo County cannot draw any water from the lake if the level is 3.22 feet or less on the Rumsey Gauge as of May 1. Clear Lake is considered full when the lake level is 7.56 feet.
