CLEARLAKE PARK >> Another successful Park Study Club Fashion Show and Luncheon was enjoyed by those in attendance at the Park Study Clubhouse on Nov. 15. The “Fall Fashion Festival” began after the guests enjoyed their lunch.
The models this year were Carol Bettencourt, Debbie Fernandez, Anne Austin, Lynn Elliot and Leslie Walker, all Park Study Club members. Missing from “strutting her stuff” this year was club mascot Maxine who sadly passed away. Assuming the role of model escort was Dean Colbrandt and ensembles were introduced by Joan Edmunds, mistress of ceremonies, as the models paraded throughout the room. Fashions were featured by Lisa”s 3 to 60 Shop.
Fabrics ranged from wash-and-wear cottons to evening apparel. Each outfit was accessorized with earrings, necklaces, bracelets, handbags and shoes. Students from Lower Lake High School volunteered their time in serving lunch to guests, as well as assuming cleanup duties.
Park Study Club is dedicated to raising funds for scholarships and the Hugh O”Brien Foundation for leadership training for Lake County youths.
