If I said I was the president of the US who would believe me? Only people who wanted to believe it. It wouldn”t be true but they would believe it anyway. So when Jonathan Gruber says that he helped write the ACA and intentionally ”made the bill vague” then people who want to believe this cannot be dissuaded by the people who actually wrote the bill and those associated with the process. They want to believe it because they are convinced that the ACA is bad and should be repealed so anything that comes along confirming this belief is a fact. Twenty-three percent of the US population still believe Obama is not a US citizen. Fourteen percent believe the moon landing was faked. Nothing can be done about this so I will not try.
On other points: ”Joe Biden being wrong on the issues 95 percent of the time.” Is this him lying or just misinformed? If we showed Pelosi”s quote to 100 conservatives would they come to the same conclusion as 100 liberals? The Republican President”s statements on taxes was meant for the comments on Obama”s statements on the national debt. This has nothing to do with lies. Also, I can”t find any stats on the Fox News Channel compared to ABC, NBC and CBS, only against the other cable networks. To Pelosi lying about being briefed about enhanced interrogation: Pelosi states, in 2009, that she was briefed on enhanced interrogation (contradicting her previous statement). I wonder why she would lie about it now? Another NewsMax story? Feinstein”s own web site states she was briefed in 2006 but the briefing was inaccurate and misleading. This has been confirmed by several of the participants and denied by the CIA. I don”t think Mac is lying so I will assume he was misinformed on this point. Another Bill O”Reilly ”Fact”? As to Mac”s ”President Obama”s quote “you didn”t build this”” comment, as I recall he was telling businesses that ”it was American tax dollars and American labor that paid for those roads and bridges.” YouTube confirms this. I really worry that Mac was misinformed on this point as the conservatives may be subverting this partial quote to achieve their own ends. When everyone is lying how do we discern the truth?
