How will I know?
It appears that Bill Kettenhofen has taken my comments out of context. I was asking why his prophecy was the correct one when other Christian sects have different ones. Somehow, this gets construed to mean differences on doctrinal truth. Doctrine is what you believe. How this relates to what is ”true” is what I was trying to have Bill tell me. And then my quote of desiring to know the truth (related directly to my prophecy question) is turned to lack of belief. If I do not believe in God then I cannot know the truth. If I do not know the truth then how can I believe in God?
When I ask for facts that will let me know God is real Bill tells us that prophecy coming ”true” is the proof. And yet when I point out that there are several version of this proof and I need to know why Bill”s is correct I receive, “It”s not a lack of information that separates us from the truth but a lack of willingness to do God”s will.”
Will I never know the truth until I believe in God? And, what is God”s will?
