The right time
Evolutionist Kevin Bracken (Nov. 29 Opinion page) wants to know what is the big hold-up, why hasn”t Jesus returned, what is he waiting for? He is waiting because it hasn”t quite been 6,000 years yet since the Creation. You see, it”s God”s plan for the two Creations to be 7,000 years apart to help impress upon minds the importance of the seven-day cycle found in Genesis where God rested on the seventh-day following the Creation. The number “seven” as found throughout the Scriptures denotes perfection.
The Sabbath is a memorial to the Creation.
An inspired writer wrote, “The exaltation by merely human authority, of Sunday in place of the Bible Sabbath is the last act in the drama. When this substitution becomes universal, God will reveal Himself.”

The wrong fight
The right wing Republican party should understand that their campaign against women”s rights to be in charge of their own bodies and have the same equal rights as the males of our population is going to bring their house of cards down on them like a ton of bricks. If there is one segment of our nation”s population that you truly do not want to have angered at you it”s the female sector. They have been and are a far more powerful group than too many elderly, white men understand. Their arsenal of weapons is vast, diverse, and cuts deep when they wish to vent their disdain on an issue or personal hurt caused by anyone who looks upon them as second class citizens of this nation. The conservative political driven Supreme Court and members of the Tea Party have pushed their agenda to a point that they are about to feel a level of anger that they have never known before.
Just ask any married man about what happens when they have pushed the wrong buttons on their mates souls and you will get a rolling of the eyes and a knowing look, telling of just what a huge mistake it was to do so. A street fight may last but a few minutes, but a fight with the misses can last a lifetime, and death by a thousand cuts is nothing compared to what awaits the fool who crosses the line that separates Heaven and Hell.
When it happens it will offer a view of reality that TV has never seen and has happened but a few times since the birth of this great nation. I can only hope I have a great seat to watch this future battle take place, and it eventually will.

Learn the subject
If ever there were any humans on the face of the earth that desperately need to smoke pot, they reside in Lake Co. The willingness to display world-class ignorance on the subject is a palpable indication that supreme stupidity still exists in this county.
Recent letters to the editor have indicated that not-so-critical information has yet to reach the hinterlands of residents who have, unbelievably, remained immune to the plethora of easily attainable information on the subject.
It is a testament to people”s ability to remain in a state of stupification, while the rest of the world moves on. Marijuana is without reasonable contraindication, a blessing to humankind. The ability to remain with horrifically misguided information, is not only a failing, but a tragedy for the whole community.
Thankfully, time will cull the ignorant and allow the reality of this wonderful plant to come to the forefront of intelligent discourse and application. For those on the fence, honestly check it out. It takes only a minor effort to find the real story of marijuana. It is a kind and beneficial part of this blue-green spinning orb, and has much to teach us.

I saw a recent picture in the paper of a woman without glasses bowing to the Dalai Lama who was wearing glasses and a sun shade. If he is so far enlightened why the glasses?

Money
The positive value of the money system is that it gives us a way to get the necessities of life and all its complementary necessities.
The negative characteristic of the money system is that it holds out in offering manner a prize (in the form of loot) for all the crimes by which money can be obtained.
The question suggests itself: how can we change the money system to get rid of the negative features and keep the positive features? Let”s scratch the frosty pow and try to come up with something. You never know — Think what history we would make!
