LAKEPORT >> On Jan. 23, the Employment Development Department (EDD) will host an apprenticeship fair at 55 1st St. at the EDD office from 9 a.m. to noon. 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. will be open for veterans only.
Potential employers will be soliciting applicants to participate in many different programs. Companies that have agreed to participate are: Beutler Cooperation; California Conservation Corps; Carpenter”s Training Committee and the Ineternational Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 551.
