LAKE COUNTY >> The Lake County Water Resources Department is looking for volunteers to monitor Clear Lake”s primary boat launching ramps in an effort to protect the lake from quagga and zebra mussels.

The volunteers will be trained and be stationed at the main ramps in the county. According to Mark Miller of the water resources department, it will take many volunteers to meet the county”s goal of monitoring all he boats that are launched into Clear Lake.
