LAKEPORT >> The next Clear Lake Jr. Horseman meeting will be at the Jr. Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds on Jan. 19 at 7 p.m.

After a short business meeting there will be a presentation on the Lake County Rodeo Queen and Princess contest. This year”s Rodeo Queen Karissa Huggins and Rodeo Princess Kia Kohler, both members of the Jr. Horseman, will be at the meeting to let future contestants know what is involved in participating in the contest,

Queen contestants must be between 16 and 24 years of age and Princess contestants between 9 and 15. All contestants must live in Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa or Colusa Counties.

To attend the meeting, enter the fairgrounds through the main entrance on Martin St. and drive to the Jr. Horseman Building behind the covered arena.
