LAKE COUNTY >> Congressman John Garamendi will speak to seniors and visit a Hammers for Hope site on Friday.
From 11:30 a.m. to noon, Garamendi will join Hammers for Hope and Calpine at the home of a 3rd District resident whose home was severely damaged during a windstorm in December. That constituent reached out to Garamendi”s office, and Garamendi”s office subsequently reached out to Hammers for Hope. They recently completed repairs on the home.
From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m, Garamendi will speak before constituents at the Live Oak Senior Center on issues that are important to seniors in Lake County, including Social Security, Medicare and other senior programs. He will take questions from the audience.
The Live Oak Senior Center is located at 12502 Foot Hill Blvd. in Clearlake Oaks.
