Taxes and the State of California
We have a big creditability and accountability problem. The State of California wants to charge 1.5 cents for a road tax fee. I want to know if they are going to deduct the gas tax fee that we are now paying per gallon, if not, it will be a double tax. Our government says solar, wind and electric vehicles are the wave of the future, so now electric vehicles pay no tax and the people that have gas or diesel vehicles have to pay the tax. So we have to pick up the cost for the electric vehicles.
I have a friend that works in San Francisco not by choice, but necessity of a job that has been worked at for many years lives in Lake County not San Francisco because of the cost. Many people can”t afford to live where they work, and in Lake County we have many people that live in Lake County that commute to Santa Rosa and the bay area not by choice but by necessity.
I was reading in the Press Democrat where the state of California spent $13 million of taxpayers” money without any knowledge of where the money was spent — absolutely no accountability. Also, I understand that they will start next year eliminating all solar credits for the home owners that obtained solar. So it is back to the government and state and getting into your pocket more and more and you getting less.
We have no choice regarding the federal government, but we do have a choice with the State of California. We have tons of new taxes heading in our direction. I think it is time for Lake County along with many other counties to take a very serious look at the new State of Jefferson. In the end that will be the only survival regarding what you make and what you pay and what you can afford to have. We have less and less money making jobs in our county along with many other counties. When you go out of town to work at a better paying job, they want to make us pay more to go there than what you can save. I believe it is time for the people of Lake County to support our county to be part of a new State of Jefferson because not everyone can afford to go out of town and pay these extra fees. It”s all about us having less and them having more.
I just feel that it is time for everyone to sit down and think about what is going on around you and to you and then you will know where I am coming from.

There”s a reason
It is an astute observation to say that the Creation/Evolution debate is mostly an American phenomenon. You really don”t see it discussed much in North Korea, Communist China, the Marxist countries of South America, socialist Europe or in many other countries. Anywhere the thoughts, freedoms and rights of the people are controlled by the government there is no debate. You see you must dethrone the God of the Bible in the eyes of your people to allow them to tolerate certain policies.
