KELSEYVILLE >> Suiting up only eight players, the Kelseyville Knights took care of business on Friday night with a 57-45 win over the Middletown Mustangs in North Central League I varsity boys” basketball action at Kelseyville.
Victor Fernandez led the Knights (7-3 league, 15-6) with 15 points and six assists, Brandon Huber added 14 points, and Kyle Ellis had 11. Hunter Beatty also came up big for Kelseyville with nine points, seven rebounds, six blocks and three assists.
“His best game of the year,” Kelseyville coach Scott Conrad said of Beatty. “He just did a great job.”
Kelseyville dominated the first half and led 39-14 at halftime.
Anthonie Guzman provided most of the pop in Middletown”s offense with 24 points, including four 3-pointers.
The Mustangs fall to 5-5 in league and 13-7 overall.
