SACRAMENTO >> Six members of the Upper Lake Junior Cougars Wrestling Club won medals during the Winter Rumble on Sunday at Natomas High School in Sacramento.
Aiden Dancer took home first-place medals in both the bantam and intermediate divisions. He went 3-0 in the bantam division with three pins and 3-0 in the intermediate division with a 17-second pin and two tech falls.
Other first-place medals went to Alexis Peregrina, who went 3-0 with two tech falls in the bantam division, and to Gabriella Fernandez, who went 3-0, all by fall.
Second-place medals went to Cody Banks, who went 3-1 with two pins, and Donovan Fernandez, who went 2-1 with one pin.
Hayden Fowler added a fourth-place medal.
The Junior Cougars return to action Sunday when they attend the Santa Smack Down at Casa Robles High School in Orangevale.
