BUCKINGHAM >> The 22nd season of the Lake County Amateur Golf Circuit tees off Feb. 22 with the playing of the One-Man Scramble at Buckingham Golf and Country Club.
Tee time is 8:30 a.m. and the entry fee is $70 for non-Buckingham members and $50 for members. The entry fee includes green fees, lunch and prizes.
Defending champions are Brad Pendleton (championship flight), Wyatt Ferrell (low gross, net flight), Max Huff (low net, net flight), Leonard Lea (low gross, senior flight) and Tim Sherrell (low net, senior flight).
Following the season-opening One-Man Scramble is the 20th annual Lake County Partners Scramble on March 21-22 at Buckingham.
In most amateur circuit events there are three flights — championship, net and senior (50 and older). Players in all flights except the championship flight must have a valid USGA handicap.
