Clearlake Oaks >> The first meeting for 2015 of the Lake County Democratic Stonewall Club will be held on Jan. 26 at the Clearlake Oaks Methodist Church Friendship Hall. The club, chartered by the Lake County Democratic Central Committee, was founded by the late William Buhey and his partner, Harold Riley in 2008. Riley will preside at the meeting and has invited community members.
“Never has it been more important that people of faith and conscience band together so that all the legal rights of the LBGT community are upheld,” stated Riley.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a potluck, with call-to-order following at 7. The Clearlake Oaks Church is located right off the plaza. For information, call 995-3905.
