Taylor Joyce, all of 2 1/2 years old, helped grandpa Dan McCormick reel in this 5-pound bass Monday on Clear Lake. Taylor, visiting from Germany, is spending some time with grandparents Dan and Cari McCormick of Lakeport. While Clear Lake bass fishing remains a bit on the slow side this winter, one of the lake’s most popular bass tournaments, the annual Clear Lake Team Bass Tournament, is just round the corner. The 100-percent payback tourney takes place Feb. 28 and March 1.
