Lower Lake High School’s Krystal Lockwood (on top) built a 12-4 lead before pinning Clear Lake’s Mariela Soto in the third round on Wednesday night during a Coastal Mountain Conference wrestling match in Lakeport. Lockwood’s win, worth six points on the scoreboard, helped the Trojans beat the Cardinals 57-15. Lower Lake also beat Upper Lake 48-27 to improve to 4-0 in the CMC dual meet standings. The Trojans host a 5-0 Fort Bragg squad this coming Wednesday at 5 p.m. Lockwood ended up splitting her two matches on Wednesday. Against Upper Lake’s Angel Stith she built a 9-2 lead but ended up getting pinned in the second round.
