
Diener
Candy Diener of Lakeport graduated from Empire College at semiannual commencement exercises on Monday evening, Jan. 19, held at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.
Diener graduated with Dean’s Honors from the Specialized Associate Degree — Medical Assistant program and is now employed as a clinical lab assistant at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. A 2008 graduate of Clear Lake High School, Diener is the granddaughter of George and Sherry Diener of Lakeport.
Serving the residents of Northern California for more than 54 years, Empire College is an accredited college offering six specialized associate degree programs, as well as 20 career training programs in legal and medical office careers, accounting, business, information technology, tourism and hospitality.
Peterson
Andre Petersen of Kelseyville recently graduated during fall semester 2014 from the University of Minnesota – Crookston (UMC) with a Bachelor of Manufacuring Management in Manufacturing Management.
UMC enrolls approximately 1,800 full-time students and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. UMC is a four-year baccalaureate degree granting institution in northwest Minnesota.
