CLEARLAKE >> Sign-ups and tryouts for the Southshore Little League take place Sunday and again on Feb. 7 at the Redbud Park ballfields in Clearlake.
Sign-ups and tryouts both days take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you plan on playing minor, major or junior baseball/softball you must attend one of these two days. Players will be asked to bat, field, catch a couple of fly balls and pitch. Players must bring a glove. It is recommended you wear cleats but it’s not mandatory. If you need to borrow a glove some will be available for use.
Sign-ups are accepted during both tryout days. The registration fee is $65 for the first child in a family and $50 for each additional child from the same family. Registration fees include a uniform, hat and trophy. When signing up you must have a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of residence such as a utility bill.
